What clients are saying
"Years later, many of my employees continue to reference their engagements with David as one of the primary drivers of their success as presenters. ... with him driving our team’s performance, customer satisfaction ratings increased, participants in our sessions had improved learning outcomes, and the company doubled it’s revenue base. We have a lot to thank him for."
- Rob Edwards, General Manager, Elevate Education
"David helped me more than any speech coach I've ever had. He gave me the tools and practice to improve how I communicate in a variety of settings, including interviews, oral arguments, and client conversations. ... He is absolutely fantastic and has been invaluable to me!"
- Melanie, Litigation Associate
"I would easily place David in the top 1% of coaches I’ve worked with. ... [He turned] various seemingly complex techniques ... from disciplines I’ve never studied into natural behaviors that I still draw on today. ... Approachable and kind, yet still constructive, David is a gem."
- Matthew, Private Equity Associate/Former McKinsey Consultant
Before you book a call, watch this
A quick walk through the coaching with the founder, and the kind of teams it works for.
You've prepared. The audience still isn't with you.
The argument is right. The deck has been worked through a hundred times. But something still doesn't connect, and nobody walks out able to say why.
A few moments you might recognize:
-
The associate who knows the deal inside out, then rambles when a client asks a question they weren't expecting.
-
The partner who reads notes aloud in court, and watches the judge stop tracking by minute three.
-
The founder who has rehearsed the deck for weeks, then speaks so fast the investor never feels what they're hearing.
Most teams don't know this is happening. They prepare hard, walk out thinking it went well, and the result they wanted slips away for reasons nobody can name.
What would change for your firm if every important conversation came across the way your team meant it to?
Your team after the workshops: clearer, calmer, more themselves
They sound like themselves. The same voice they use telling a story to a friend at dinner: warm, specific, and with personality. That voice now carries across a boardroom, a courtroom, or a Zoom grid of forty faces.
After our workshops, coaching, and seminars, teams can:
✔️Pause without panicking
✔️Prepare faster and remember more
✔️Answer hard questions without freezing or filling silence with noise
✔️Know what to focus on when they have an hour to get ready
✔️Let conviction and personality shine through in high-stakes rooms
What working with David looks like
Most teams start with a workshop series, then carry the work into ongoing coaching as needed. The workshops are small and built around what your team is already working on
-
The deal pitch on Tuesday
-
The closing argument scheduled for Friday
-
The Q&A panel they are dreading
David opens each workshop with a short presentation. The rest of the time goes into rotating coaching, one person at a time, with the group watching and giving feedback.
Watching the change happen in a colleague is often the moment it clicks for everyone else.
Three ways to work together
Workshops to start, retainers to keep building, seminars when you need to reach the whole firm.
Two-part workshop series
Teams of 3 to 5 people. Two in-person sessions, three hours each.
Workshop 1 (Fundamentals)
Focus on mindset, preparation, emphasis and spoken punctuation, voice, body language, nerves, and online engagements.
Workshop 2 (Impact)
Focus on the effect you want to have on your audience, meaning what you say, making words personal and tangible, rhythm, and pattern.
Both sessions are mostly individual coaching using your team's own material, with poetry and Shakespeare added in session two. Each participant receives a written guide on how to rehearse and learn a speech before workshop one.
Retainer
For teams who have been through the workshop series and want ongoing access.
-
Scheduled in-person and virtual sessions
-
WhatsApp messaging and calls for quick questions
-
Email help between sessions
-
Video review before a big moment
Retainer hours are capped across clients so your team gets attention when they need it most. This works best as ongoing support once the workshop series has set a shared foundation across the team.
Large group seminars
PowerPoint-based, up to two hours, perfect for bigger audiences. Topics covered include:
-
Mindset & common inhibitors that hold speakers back
-
Effective preparation
-
Online presentations
-
Focusing on how you intend to affect your audience
-
Making your words personal and tangible
-
Dealing with nerves
-
Q&A
Seminars work well as a starting point for firms who want to introduce the ideas across a wider group during off-sites and training days.

Common questions
What does this cost?
Pricing depends on team size and format. Most firms start with the workshop series and decide on a retainer after.
How much time will my team give up?
Two sessions of three hours for the workshop series. Most clients say their people save time on preparation afterward.
In-person or virtual?
Workshops are in person. Retainer work is both. Seminars can be either.
What if not everyone wants to be there?
Introverted participants learn a lot from watching, and most people are surprised by how the room feels by the end of session one.
Group size?
Workshops are 3 to 5 people. Seminars are open-ended.
